Cost of Services: Physiotherapy, aquatic therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, custom made braces, custom made orthotics

Sport Medicine Consultation

Consultations are covered by OHIP for Ontario residents according to the OHIP guidelines.

Massage Therapy

  • One hour session $110.00 + HST
  • 45 min session $90.00 + HST
  • 30 min session $70.00 + HST
  • Massage therapy is covered under most extended health plans

Registered Physiotherapy

  • Initial physiotherapy assessment $100.00 (45 min-1 hr)
  • Physiotherapy treatment sessions $70.00 (30-45min)
  • Acupuncture is included with physiotherapy when indicated
  • Physiotherapy rates are based on the recommended rates published by the Ontario Physiotherapy association.
  • When comparing rates for physiotherapy it is important to ask about the duration of each session and if the physiotherapist will be providing the treatment personally.
  • Registered physiotherapy is covered under most extended health insurance plans

Aquatic Therapy; Water rehabilitation

  

  • Generally billed under physiotherapy
  • Price will vary according to the the condition treated

Custom Made Foot Orthotics and Braces

  • Custom made foot orthotics  $450.00-500.00
  • Custom made ACL derotation braces or PCL derotation braces $1,500.00-$1,600.00
  • Custom made osteoarthritis unloader braces for osteoarthritis of the knee $1,500.00-$1,600.00
  • Custom braces and custom foot orthotics are usually covered by extended health plans

Sport Conditioning Programs

  • Provided under physiotherapy services
  • Provided by registered physiotherapists
  • Covered under extended health plans
